This section is self-explanatory.
It explains the mechanics of writing. This student lesson is complete
and I can't think of anything else that you as a teacher might need
to teach these lessons. You might want to link this "Process"
lesson to a story your students are writing and have them fill in the
Ideas worksheets as they go. (e.g., Fill in worksheet #3, main Character
Development, page 289 Writing to God's Glory) as you work with the "Casting"
section on page 143.)

Ok. Now that you have read
the lesson, here is your mission. Develop three-dimensional characters
using the techniques in this lesson.
For the K-6th grade
-- Develop one three-dimensional character. Breath life into your character.
You may enter your fill in worksheet with your answers to the forms
questions.
For 7th-12th grade
-- To make this a little more advanced, you should develop four three-dimensional
characters and then write a four paragraph essay, or longer, using your
characters, make sure they behave the way you said they would in the
worksheet (also include). Try to make your characters stay within a
theme, make them work together.
I hope to see some very
interesting occupations. Be creative. There is a 500 word maximum --
don't go over. Do your best, write it down, and be sure to check for
errors, then fill out the entr form and send it to us. The due date
is September 30, 2002. So get out there and write.
